SEP2008_Hakodate

The SEP2008_Hakodate Workshop will be hold at Hakodate in December. In this workshop we will use Scenario and Participatory Design method to development new device or system design for special events. In this Workshop Japan and Taiwan students take field work in the Hakodate city keeps a record of city expenses with variety of medias that every student can be viewed with variety of  tools in a contextually ordered view for browsing, organizing and sharing to design new devices or system for new city life.

SEP2008_Hakodate Workshop は2008年12月，函館市で開催します．このWorkshopはシナリオ法等の参加型デザイン手法を用いて，新しいシステムをデザインします．日本と台湾の学生達は，街中で field workをして，気になる問題や状況などを様々なメディアで記録します．更に，問題の共有，経験や意見の交換をして，町の新しい生活体験をデザインします．

The Theme: EX-life in N41^。

EX-life in N41^。 is a project for new life experience in Hakodate city through information environment.  A lot of tourists visit in Hakodate but mostly only passengers. Maybe Passengers exchange of views and communication with resident to get a new gaze and find life discoveries for development information technology. That’s just what we expected!

EX-life in N41^。は，情報環境を生かして函館の新しい生活体験をデザインするプロジェクトです．函館には多くの観光客が集まります．しかし多くは通り過ぎるだけです．通り過ぎる人（passenger)と住民が交流できたらもっと新しい発見や交流が生まれるかも知れません．情報技術は，生活する人の中に新しい交流の機会を与える可能性があります．このワークショップでは，生活者の中に旅人（参加者）が入り込み，生活者や旅人の目線から新しいシステムを提案します．

Hakodate

Hakodate is located at 41 degrees north latitude (N41。). Hakodate port partially opened to foreign trade on 1859 as one of three Japanese open ports designated in the 1858. Therefore, a unique history and the culture are brought up in Hakodate. Furthermore, she is one of the three major night views of the world and has a lot of churches that overflow exoticism and the architectures that combination of Japanese .

函館は北緯41度（N41。）に位置します．日本最初の国際貿易港であり，独特な西洋文化と自然の調和した街です．世界の三大夜景だけでなく，異国情緒溢れる教会堂区や多くの和洋折衷の景観が広がります．
